Summary: It's always nice to see normally flax tales of horror and fantasy as interpreted by other cultures, like the Balinese. To give you an idea, their vampires don't even need bodies to get around.

History: Somewhere in the Bali province of Indonesia, there is the Old Queen of the Leak, an immortal figure known for having the greatest of black magic around. She's recently been looking for a servant to bring her more blood and sacrifices to help her stay young, so she turns a visiting American named Cathy into a Leyak, a vampiric spirit. Only a few can hope to stand in evil's way now.

Notable Kills: Cathy sucks out the lifeforce of a baby through its mom's...well, let's see you do oral after this.

Final Fate: After an intense battle of shapeshifting and energy, our protagonist uses good magic to reflect the Queen's power, and lets the sunlight kill off both she and Cathy.

Powers/Abilities: Immortality, shapeshifting, assorted reality warping powers, no need for a body.

Weakness: Equally strong magic, sunlight.

Scariness Factor: 3-The Queen behaves a lot like an evil overlord archetype from a super Sentai series, but is just as powerful. Cathy looks downright unnerving as a severed head with her intestines still handing down.

Trivia: -The Leyak is a Balinese vampire that seeks out unborn children to drink their blood. Their demonic queen is known as Rangda, who eternally fights against the good king of the spirits, Barong.
